Tom and Rob

Tom Condello and Rob Koprowicz combined have 50+ years’ experience in wholesale distribution to various markets across WA. Beginning with a working relationship established in 2013, Tom and Rob both share a strong passion for sales, combined with a distribution acumen, and in 2020, discussions began about buying a business together.

It was in July 2022 when a chance comment led to Tom and Rob being introduced to the founder of Zenox Industries Global, Stephen Bogue, who at the time, had been operating the business for 22 years.

After initial discussions with Stephen Bogue, both Tom and Rob became very excited about the idea of owning and developing the Zenox brand that had been created. After several meetings and an AFL footy game, the acquisition of Zenox Industries Global was agreed under a couple of rules from Mr Bogue:

Rule # 1 – Always ensure that Zenox remains to be made in Australia.
Rule # 2Grow the Zenox brand to what time has prevented me from doing.

And just like that over a coffee and a hand shake the deal was done and Stephen would look to retire and pursue his other interests.

In October 2022, the new trading name of Zenox Lubricants was launched and the growth of the brand under Tom and Rob would begin. Since the launch of Zenox Lubricants we have obtained the rights to boast the Australian Made & Owned recognisable Kangaroo in a triangle logo.

This logo will proudly feature on all Zenox Lubricants products along with our catalogues, counter displays, and brand new Zenox website.

Tom and Rob plan is to expand the brand nationally across Australia and one day internationally, with the support of our long serving distribution partners.

Specific production of industrial lubricants may vary from company to company; however, a general step-by-step process may include:

  1. Selection of the base oil – There are two basic base categories for lubricant oil, mineral based, and synthetic based. The choice of the base oil will determine the desired characteristics of the product. For example, whether it is for viscosity, performance, or has temperature requirements. Synthetic oils are manufactured polyalphaolefins, which are hydrocarbon-based polyglycols or ester oils. Mineral oils are refined from naturally occurring petroleum, or crude oil.
  2. Additives – Chemical compounds are mixed with the base oils to enhance properties and performance. Depending on the desired product outcome, these additives help to improve the characteristics of the product.
  3. Blending – During the blending process, components are mixed together in large tanks to ensure additives are thoroughly combined throughout the base oil to achieve consistent performance from the product.
  4. Quality control – We perform a rigorous quality control process to ensure every product distributed from Zenox is consistent and provides the desired outcome.
